Take the passenger ferry from Norra Hamnen in Strömstad to Kilesand. The boat trip takes 30-50 minutes. From there it is an 800 metre walk to Kostergården. You buy your ticket on the boat.

Park at one of Strömstad's long-term car parks: Hålkedalen and Bojaren. It costs 50 SEK per day and you can park for up to seven days. During summer there are shuttle buses to the town centre where the Koster boat departs.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price between 21 June and 15 August. Outside this period it is mandatory to purchase bed linen/towels for 179 SEK per set. The final cleaning is optional to do yourself or to purchase.

Yes. On arrival there is one set of toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher tablet, cloth and washing-up liquid. After that you must ensure you have what you use. Please note there are no ovens in the cottages or apartments.

It costs 799 SEK to purchase the final cleaning. Cleaning materials are available in every apartment/cottage if you clean yourself. Please note that dishes must be cleared and bins emptied regardless of whether you have purchased the final cleaning or not.

All cottages are equipped for self-catering. It is a good idea to bring bath towels, toilet paper, kitchen paper, dishwasher tablets, cooking spices and a good mood of course!

Pets are warmly welcome with us. There are specific accommodations where pets are allowed. Talk to us and we will find the right accommodation for you and your four-legged friend!

Yes. There is an ICA store with limited opening hours two kilometres from Kostergården.

Yes, there are six restaurants on Sydkoster.

Yes, there are bicycles to hire on the island. During summer demand is high and they can sometimes run out, so be sure to book in good time! You can also bring your own bicycle for a fee on the ferry.

Check-in from 15:00 at the earliest. Check-out by 11:00 at the latest. Late check-out must be booked in advance by email at booking@kostergarden.se for a fee.

Kilesand beach, which stretches 900 metres, is right in front of Kostergården. In other words, you are just a stone's throw away from a morning dip!

There is a shared barbecue area free to use for all guests at Kostergården Stugby. It is located on the lawn in front of the cottages and all you need to bring is charcoal and lighter fluid.
